For Fashionable Manila, owning a piece of the sky is now even better as Rockwell Land Corporation introduces another
first in high-rise residential projects – the Z-shaped units. Z-shaped units span the width of the building, affording
future residents different vistas from one end to another. Choose from any of the Z-type split-level one-bedroom units, two-bedroom
units, or the lofts.
Z-shaped split-level units have the main entrance, living and dining rooms, kitchen, and toilet and bathroom all on the
lower floor on one end and the bedroom on the upper floor at the opposite end.
The Z-shaped lofts, on the other hand, have redefined the concept of the Asian version of shop-houses. Not only is it raised
above ground and fitted into a tower to play up its loftiness or the elements of space, air and light go with it. Now, you
can allow morning rays or the twinkling lights of the metropolis to illuminate your living room with floor-to-ceiling glass
panels on one end of your Z-shaped loft and then sink into your favorite chair and watch the shadows mirrored on Manila Bay
on the other end of your unit.
This unique feature can only be found in Rockwell’s latest signature project, Number One Rockwell.
World-renowned Miami-based architectural firm, Arquitectonica has lent its design expertise to set new benchmarks in style,
innovation, functionality, and creativity through Number One Rockwell. Arquitectonica is also known as the architectural firm
responsible for the unique design of the famous Las Vegas “Las Ramblas” hotel, whose investors include Hollywood
star, George Clooney.
Number One Rockwell’s design speaks volumes of the unparalleled lifestyle that Rockwell is known for. It is set to
rise on a 2-hectare block, currently the site of Rockwell Information Center and the popular breakfast nook for Rockwell residents
and patrons.
This signature project makes a bold statement with its two (2) towers taking on distinct, high-contrast geometric forms
that are pulled together by a piazza on the ground level and an elevated circular driveway that provides privacy and security
to Number One Rockwell future residents.
The East Tower will be in an angular shape which provides ten (10) different views of the metro. It has a total of seven
(7) corners and is shaped like a lightning rod with its highest point reaching 46-storeys high. The levels cascade down and
round out with 41-storeys.
The West Tower, on the other hand, will be carrying out a curvilinear structure. It will be made up of two (2) halves that
that seem to slightly slide away from each at the center. The architectural detail created by the incidental bumps in the
curve creates distinct vertical lines on either side of the building.
The special features don’t stop there. Number One Rockwell will also be the first to house the amenities on the roof
deck! Imagine sipping your cooler while lounging on a chaise with a 360-degree view of the metro or taking a dip in a pool
that looks out into the blue sky dotted with fluffy white clouds. Number One Rockwell is the ultimate in luxury resort lifestyle
set amidst the urban jungle.
True to form, Rockwell has ensured that the design integrates landscape architecture details that give back the greenery
to its future residents and patrons of the retail outlets on the ground level.
Number One Rockwell definitely gives Fashionable Manila a lifestyle that’s more about living and less about survival.
